Curried Soy Curls™ & Rice


4 3/4 cups water

2 cups rice

2 cups Soy Curls™

1 cup mixed vegetables

2 teaspoons curry powder

1 1/4 teaspoons salt

3 whole cloves

1/2 teaspoon coriander powder

2 whole bay leaves


Directions: Bring water to a boil. (Usually the ratio is 2 cups of water to one cup of rice, but you need a little extra because the Soy Curls™ soak up water too.)

Put all ingredients in the water, except the vegetables. Lower heat and cook for 35 minutes. (If you are using brown rice, it will need to cook for 55 minutes)

Add the vegetables near the end.

Remove bay leaves and cloves before consuming.
